PLEIN-AIR IN SPAIN

I have yet to  complete a painting in one day, but I love the challenge of these events! In the morning the hosting pueblo stamps the back of the canvas. Selecting a subject and then going at it—'unpre-meditatedly'—is surprising. Mid-day, they find you and bring you lunch! The hours go by FAST. At 5pm the artists (not me) turn their work in. While off to a nearby café, the exhibit is hung. The opening reveals the varied fascinating results! Maybe the next time I will finish something...
